Séjour équestre au ranch marocain

MEALS & ACCOMMODATION
The Moroccan ranch is ideally situated just ten minutes from the sea. It is a calm and peaceful place, where you can take advantage of your free time to relax, read in the shade of the flowering trees or on the sunny terrace.
You will stay at the guesthouse in the ranch. The rooms have a simple and colourful, Moroccan-style décor. Each room has its own bathroom and either a double or twin beds.
Meals are prepared by the chef of the team who will take great pride in introducing you to the excellent, fresh and varied local cuisine. With each meal you will drink the traditional Moroccan mint tea – a real institution here! Hearty breakfasts. Meals are eaten together with the whole team in a large dining room at the ranch or on the large terraces overlooking the sea.

WEATHER
Due to its close proximity to the sea, this region benefits from a sunny and pleasant climate all year round. The few days of rain are spread between November and March. There are more than 340 days of sunshine a year, but fog and morning mist in summer are not unheard of. Temperatures are strongly affected by the trade winds that are present all year round, and remain relatively constant between winter and summer. The average temperatures are between 14°C – 16°C in January and 19°C – 22°C in July. The region does however experience desert winds from the Sahara (“chergui”) which can exceptionally, for a duration of a couple of days (2-5) raise the temperature above 40°C.

EQUIPMENT
Bring equipment and clothes according to the season without forgetting the essentials:

  • Jodhpurs, mini-chaps
  • Comfortable shoes for riding and walking
  • Windcheater jacket: it can get cold in the evening
  • Riding hat: not obligatory but highly recommended (available at the stables)
  • Scarf in case of small sand storms
  • Good quality sunglasses
  • Sun cream
  • Torch
  • Toiletries: try to bring biodegradable products
  • Swimsuit

Maroc was absolutely wonderful, more I could expect. Everything was Very Special. Because we had been only two guests I rode most of the Time with the Guide. We made Trips for 32 km, that I Never will forget. The horses were very calm and strong together and I enjoyed the Trip at the Beach Most. The Food and House were great. I' m really happy that I did it. Thank you very much for the Tip and the help. Perhaps I book something with you again. It depends in the Money and next I' ll go with my Family.
